Join Microsoft’s Security for AI product team and help define how AI systems are protected-by design-from development through runtime.

This team is building a new, high-profile security product focused on securing AI models, agents, and AI-powered applications used by some of the largest S500 customers in the world. The work sits at the intersection of AI, cloud platforms, and security, and will directly influence how enterprises safely adopt AI.You will operate in a fast-moving, highly technical environment, working closely with engineering, security research, and partner teams across Microsoft. This is a rare opportunity to own meaningful product surface area in a domain that will shape the future of security.

About the Team

The Security for AI team is responsible for defining and delivering security capabilities for modern AI systems, including:

  • AI models and inference endpoints
  • AI agents and orchestration frameworks
  • Prompt flows, tools, plugins, and integrations
  • Emerging AI threat vectors and attack patterns

We work directly with enterprise customers and internal partners to ensure our product solves real-world problems at scale and sets the standard for secure AI adoption.



Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer and market signals to identify customers’ unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancements or development of multiple feature areas. Evaluate tradeoffs and prioritize investments in consultation with cross-functional partners.
  • Own end-to-end product area within Microsoft Security for AI, which includes defining features, building vision and strategy and owning product backlog. Work with software engineering and design teams to drive execution for successful results.
  • Work closely with the marketing, business planning, and customer success teams to define the business model, disclose the product roadmap, and manage outbound communications
  • Work closely and build trust with customers to help direct product roadmap and improve customer experience.
  • Drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria and performance metrics. Be data driven with ongoing analysis of usage data to increase service adoption.
  • Help build the team, guide, and mentor other team members.


Qualifications
  • +8 years of experience as a Product Manager
  • +5 years in security products
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science (or related technical equivalent) / MBA

  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English
  • Proven track-record delivering software products/services to market.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Advantage: Knowledge in architecture and design of scalable services
