The Teams Engineering Systems organization is hiring a Principal Software Engineer focused on securing large scale engineering systems and the end-to-end software supply chain. In this role, you will strengthen the integrity of our build, test, and release workflows, ensuring that every stage of the engineering lifecycle is protected against tampering, unauthorized changes, and emerging supply scale engineering systems and the ‑scale engineering systems and the end‑to‑chain threats. • Help define and implement a secure engineering system supply chain across the build, test, and release lifecycle.
• Work with centralized teams to mitigate new security and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with feature teams and centralized security teams to improve user experience without sacrificing security.
• Drive improvements in detection, response, and resolution times for service incidents to enhance overall reliability and customer trust.
• Build on our Microsoft principles (create clarity, generate energy, deliver success) and values (respect, integrity, accountability) to effectively collaborate and make things happen.
• Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience solving challenging problems and cross team/organization collaboration skills.
