We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team.

We are expanding our Dynamics 365 Project Operations engineering team in the US, specifically at our location in Redmond, Washington. While work from home options are available based on Microsoft’s hybrid work policy, this position requires physical presence within the region surrounding the Microsoft campus in Redmond.

Responsibilities
  • Develop features with focus on quality, usability & performance.
  • Participate in live-site operations with emphasis on timely response, delivery & satisfaction for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across internal & external stakeholders.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using technical skills including understanding of object-oriented programming & design, algorithms, database concepts & performance, no-sql technologies and microservice architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience coding, debugging, design, testing and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power Platform & Dataverse, or other enterprise resource and planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) software experience.
  • Experience in building cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of microservices principles.
  • Knowledge of developing with machine learning models including LLMs, prompt engineering, and agents.
  • X++/C#/Java/Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL experience.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
