Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Project & Cost Controls: Monitors approved project budgets and oversees project controls (PERs, PSRs, change orders, pay apps), identifying risks and recommending adjustments to maintain financial discipline.
- Program Delivery & Results: Facilitates delivery of campus and metro-based construction projects through timely, data driven decision-making in partnership with local teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment to Safety, Security, Quality, Schedule, and Cost priorities.
- Cross Functional Collaboration & Change Enablement: Partners with CO+I and key Microsoft stakeholders to drive adoption of updated processes, improving cost savings, cycle time, and operational efficiency across programs.
- Technical & Construction Oversight: Reviews engineering documentation, designs, and site plans; identifies gaps and risks; and provides recommendations that improve constructability while adhering to security core priorities and standards.
- Risk, Safety & Regulatory Leadership: Represents Microsoft as a safety advocate by establishing risk mitigation metrics, supporting national safety goals, ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA), conducting audits, and contributing to incident investigations.
- Resource, Procurement & Vendor Management: Oversees procurement and resourcing activities, evaluates staffing and material needs, and monitors vendor performance for compliance, financial accuracy, and contractual obligations.
- Project Tracking & Executive Reporting: Assists in tracking and reporting project progress across scope, schedule, standards, and budget, synthesizing complex data into clear updates for delivery and executive audiences.

Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.

Construction Project Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
