CSA Global Delivery organization within Global Customer Success (GCS) & CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovative solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty. This team, consisting of both full-time employees (FTEs) and Partner Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs), is dedicated to enhancing customer experiences as they transition to hybrid and public cloud solutions.
We are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to join the Global Delivery (GD) organization, with deep expertise in SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online.
In this role, you will deliver scalable, repeatable, and high‑quality technical engagements for enterprise customers worldwide, supporting them in modernizing, migrating, and optimizing their content management and collaboration platforms across on‑premises and Microsoft 365 environments.
As part of Global Delivery, you will act as a technical authority and trusted advisor, helping customers transition from legacy SharePoint deployments to modern, cloud‑based architectures while ensuring security, governance, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and hybrid customer engagements focused on:
• SharePoint Server (on‑premises and hybrid)
• SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365)
• Design and implement modern collaboration and content architectures, aligned with Microsoft best practices.
• Lead SharePoint modernization and migration initiatives, including:
• SharePoint Server to SharePoint Online migrations
• Hybrid SharePoint architectures
• Legacy customization and workflow modernization
• Provide guidance on:
• Information architecture
• Governance, security, and compliance
• Search, content services, and integration with Microsoft 365
• Drive technical delivery excellence during assessment, design, migration, and optimization phases.
• Create, reuse, and improve standardized delivery assets, playbooks, and IP to enable scale delivery.
• Collaborate with field CSAs, partners, and factory delivery teams to ensure consistent customer outcomes.
• Act as a SharePoint SME within the Global Delivery community, contributing to enablement and knowledge sharing.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND solid years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND solid years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND solid years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
solid years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
solid years experience working on technical projects.
Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

Required Qualifications
• Strong experience with SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in:
○ SharePoint Server architecture and administration
○ SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 integration
• Solid understanding of:
○ SharePoint hybrid scenarios
○ Authentication and identity integration
○ Governance, security, and compliance in Microsoft 365
• Experience delivering customer‑facing technical engagements (remote or onsite).
• Ability to translate business and collaboration requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Italian and English. Being fluent in both languages is mandatory.

• Experience with:
• SharePoint migration tools and approaches
• Power Platform integration (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Microsoft Teams and Viva integrations
• Knowledge of:
• Search customization and optimization
• Content lifecycle management and records management
• Microsoft certifications (e.g. MS‑102, MS‑700, or equivalent)
Proven ability to mentor peers and contribute to technical communities
