Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for leading a talented team of software engineers building data solutions that will help E+D gain the strategic insights we need to deliver the most optimal user experience and to quickly adapt to market conditions that are constantly evolving.
- You will apply your engineering and analytical skills to petabyte-scale data problems using the latest and most modern data analytics technologies on an ever-increasing number of data signals produced by the different products part of the M365 suite and our partners across the company.
- You will model Microsoft's culture for inclusion, learning and growth. Coach employees to learn and grow while achieving their career goals. Care for the overall health, success, and satisfaction of the individual team members and the team as a whole.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with data engineering technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Kusto, Flink or Azure Data Factory.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems, data platforms, or large‑scale telemetry pipelines.
- 2+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams.
- Proven experience with full stack development
