Business Program Manager

Bethesda is strengthening its operating model to deliver great games with discipline, clarity, and accountability. We are seeking a Business Program Manager to work directly with the COO and help run the business day to day—driving portfolio clarity, operating cadence, and business execution rigor across Bethesda.
This operating role that will use data, structure, and judgment to turn strategy into action, ensure commitments are met, and help leadership make timely, well-informed decisions.
Business growth is also essential. Driving new revenue models, geographic expansion, and expansion beyond core gaming will be critical to the success of Bethesda. This role will contribute to all of these initiatives.
Responsibilities
Grow the Bethesda Business – Portfolio & Investment Discipline
- Support portfolio management by creating clear views of roadmaps, priorities, and tradeoffs across franchises and initiatives.
- Develop decision frameworks and scenario views to support greenlights, resets, expansions, and partnerships.
- Track value creation indicators (engagement, reach, quality, margin drivers) and connect them to operating decisions.
- Support cross business G&A initiatives such as compensation plans, labor details, efficiencies and synergy between teams.
Operational Excellence – Cadence & Execution
- Support the COO’s operating rhythm, including MBRs, QBRs, milestone reviews, and portfolio checkpoints.
- Monitor progress against commitments, surface risks early, and drive follow-up and resolution.
- Connect execution drivers (staffing, vendors, services, infrastructure) to delivery timelines, quality, and player experience.
People, Accountability & Org Support
- Reinforce clarity and accountability by tracking ownership, commitments, and outcomes across teams.
- Partner with Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and other functions on cross-group operational and organizational topics.
- Model high standards, transparency, and follow-through consistent with Bethesda leadership expectations.
Planning, Reporting & Business Insights
- Support long-range and annual planning by translating strategy into executable plans and milestones.
- Deliver concise, executive-ready business updates that highlight progress, risks, and decisions needed.
- Improve dashboards, reporting, and information flow to reduce manual effort and increase leadership confidence in the data.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating in complex, product-driven organizations with multiple teams and dependencies.
- Ability to turn ambiguity into structure, priorities, and action.
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, or technology industries preferred.
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
