Overview

As a FastTrack Solution Architect, you ensure partners successfully implement and adopt Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions by providing trusted guidance, architectural leadership, and proactive risk management. You represent Microsoft’s best practices, bring clarity to complex implementation challenges, and work across engineering, product, and customer teams to deliver predictable, high‑quality outcomes.

You play a critical role in driving adoption, solution quality, and customer success, while helping FastTrack evolve through feedback, patterns, and reusable guidance.

Responsibilities

1. Customer & Partner Delivery

  • Drive architectural reviews and implementation guidance for assigned partners in FastTrack, ensuring Partner CoE adherence to Success by Design principles.
  • Provide proactive risk identification and mitigation strategies across solution design, data, security, extensibility, and integrations.
  • Guide partners in adopting Microsoft-recommended patterns, capabilities, and AI/agentic features to maximise value.
  • Support go-live readiness by validating solution completeness, testing strategies, performance planning, and operational readiness.
  • Enable partners through clear design feedback, pattern recommendations, and coaching to improve quality and self‑sufficiency.

2. Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Provide deep expertise across Dynamics 365 CE apps, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and solution architecture.
  • Review solution blueprints, functional and technical designs, and validate alignment with product capabilities.
  • Identify design gaps and propose viable alternative patterns using out‑of‑the‑box capabilities and compliant extensions.
  • Advise on data strategy, integrations, security models, environment planning, CI/CD practices, and agentic experiences.
  • Contribute reference architectures, reusable design patterns, and implementation guidance used across FastTrack.

3. Program Contribution & Continuous Improvement

  • Capture, document, and escalate product gaps, bugs, and tooling friction points to engineering with clear impact and reproducible detail.
  • Influence product roadmap areas by providing structured, high‑quality insights based on real-world customer scenarios.
  • Contribute to improvements in Success by Design guidance, automation, agentic tooling, and core FastTrack processes.
  • Collaborate with peers globally to align on consistent delivery models, quality standards, and architectural best practices.

4. Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Impact

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Support, and other FastTrack teams to resolve customer blockers.
  • Participate in v-teams and initiative workstreams to evolve the program (e.g., AI/agent adoption, tooling, automation, patterns).
  • Drive strong collaboration with ecosystem partners, helping them mature capabilities, solution quality, and delivery consistency.
  • Contribute to internal communities of practice, share learnings, and mentor less-experienced architects.

5. Customer Success & Advocacy

  • Represent FastTrack as the trusted, authoritative voice of recommended practice.
  • Build customer and partner confidence by simplifying complexity and providing actionable, prescriptive guidance.
  • Advocate for customer interests through clear communication to engineering and product teams.
  • Support success measures such as adoption, time-to-value, implementation quality, and operational readiness.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PL700 certification.
  • Deep domain expertise in at least 2 out of the following 3 workloads: Dynamics 365 CE apps, Power Platform, Copilot Studio.
  • Solid architectural capability across:
    • Business process design
    • Solution and data architecture
    • Integration patterns
    • Security & compliance models
    • Power Platform + Azure extensibility
    • CI/CD and environment strategy
    • AI/agentic design patterns
  • Ability to review and challenge designs objectively and constructively.
  • Experience in large‑scale enterprise implementations with measurable impact
  • Customer‑obsessed mindset with proven track record of driving outcomes and removing blockers.
  • Ability to influence without authority and navigate ambiguity in enterprise environments.
  • Growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning, especially in AI/agentic technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to team success beyond individual project delivery.

Customer Experience Program Mgmt IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
