Join the Microsoft Sentinel Platform team, a fast-growing, mission-driven group building the next-generation security data platform. Our team is responsible for delivering a unified, scalable, and intelligent foundation that powers the evolution to Agentic AI alongside Microsoft Sentinel and the broader security ecosystem. We combine a high-performance security data lake with a deeply connected graph to enable advanced threat detection, investigation, and response.
We're looking for a customer-obsessed and technically curious Senior Product Manager to join the AI Security Search team within Sentinel Platform. In this role, you'll own the product strategy for how security data is discovered, retrieved, and correlated across multiple modalities, including tabular, graph, unstructured, and federated sources. You'll work at the intersection of AI/ML, platform infrastructure, and security operations, partnering closely with engineering, applied science, design, and partner teams to shape intelligent search experiences that power the next generation of security investigation and agentic AI workflows.

Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered search and retrieval capabilities within the security platform.
- Obsess the customer, engage directly with security practitioners, gather insights from telemetry, research, and direct feedback, and translate findings into product requirements that improve investigation, hunting, and response workflows.
- Partner with engineering and applied science teams to shape technical direction for search infrastructure, including latency optimization, caching, availability, and scale, while developing a effective working understanding of AI building blocks such as embeddings, LLM orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Drive cross-team partnerships and relationships across disciplines to establish shared vision, alignment, and coordinated execution on complex, cross-cutting experiences.
- Orchestrate end-to-end execution with engineering, design, and partner product teams to deliver high-impact experiences on time with clear milestones, rigorous prioritization, and crisp communication.
- Drive go-to-market readiness: shape rollout plans, partner with marketing on communications, ensure robust customer support, and anticipate future needs from ongoing feedback and usage.
- Represent the effort within Teams and with partners across Microsoft, providing clarity and advocating for value delivery. Represent Microsoft and the product externally with customers and partners.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of proven product sense with a demonstrated track record of defining and shipping user-centric features in complex, technically deep environments platforms, AI, search or data infrastructure.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical acumen with the ability to engage credibly with engineers on system design, API contracts, and architectural trade-offs, including familiarity with AI concepts Embeddings, LLMs, vector search, RAG patterns, Semantic Search — search/retrieval systems, query orchestration, ranking, federated sources.
- Experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or threat intelligence domains.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
