Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help shape a new and emerging product area within Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Viva. This role focuses on building end‑to‑end employee service delivery experiences that make Microsoft 365 Copilot the single starting point for employee needs, while equipping leaders with tools to transform their organizations around AI.

This is a v1 / startup‑modality product, and the role is well‑suited for someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, evolving quickly as we learn, and working closely with a tightly‑knit, geo‑distributed team. The work has direct, material impact on high‑visibility Microsoft products and customers globally.

What We Do: The team builds Employee Service Delivery capabilities for Microsoft 365 Copilot. These capabilities are designed to:

  • Make Microsoft 365 Copilot the primary entry point for employee needs.
  • Enable leaders to transform their organizations using AI‑driven experiences.
  • Leverage the Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Viva, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365 to deliver connected, intelligent employee experiences.

Responsibilities
The Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead product strategy and execution for employee experience capabilities within Microsoft 365 Copilot. You will work across engineering, design, research, and partner teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers with complex and diverse needs.

This role requires strong customer empathy, the ability to reason through end‑to‑end experiences from makers to end users, and experience collaborating across multiple partner ecosystems, including Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).


What You Will Do
  • Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for employee service delivery capabilities within Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • Translate customer needs, data insights, and hypotheses into clear product requirements and prioritized outcomes.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and research to deliver cohesive, end‑to‑end user experiences.
  • Work with high‑profile enterprise customers to understand complex scenarios and translate them into scalable product solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams and organizations to drive dependencies, align priorities, and deliver integrated experiences.
  • Build and manage partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to extend product capabilities and customer value.
  • Define success metrics, track outcomes, and use data to continuously iterate and improve product experiences.
  • Operate effectively in a fast‑moving, evolving environment where requirements and approaches may change as learning occurs.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Deeply technical person who understands Copilot and Copilot-led experiences

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years as product or program manager overall working on large scale projects across diverse organizations and product offerings
  • Experience in building data driven products, ability to use data to inform product decisions
  • Experiences with Copilot Studio and/or maker/power-user experiences
  • Experience partnering with 3P ISVs
  • A track-record of independence, thinking freely and delivering world class solutions
  • The ability to lead across disciplines, collaborate, and influence your peers
  • The ability to empathize, listen, and obsess over our customers

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
