Overview

Do you want to build a product that blends the cutting edge of Microsoft AI, the Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Teams ecosystem, and the Power Platform to empower every seller on the planet to achieve more? Are you energized by fast-paced, collaborative teams using diverse technologies to deliver real value quickly? If so, you'll feel right at home on the Microsoft Sales Agent team.

The emergence of AI technologies and digital collaboration is disrupting the ways in which selling is happening. Instead of navigating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, sellers now expect AI-powered agents, and insights directly integrated into their day-to-day productivity tools to get real time coaching. The Microsoft Sales Agent team brings autonomous agents which are intelligent and powers contextual experiences into the modern-work suite across Microsoft Copilot, Outlook, and Teams. These experiences seamlessly integrate with leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce or Dynamics 365.

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team!

As a Principal Software Engineer on this team, you’ll build end-to-end experiences across Web, Windows, iOS, and Android. Our front end is React-based, integrated deeply with Copilot, Outlook, and Teams, sitting atop a scalable Azure microservice architecture. You’ll partner with groups across Microsoft (Copilot, Graph, Outlook, Teams, Dataverse, Power Platform) to deliver a seamless, SaaS offering that truly transforms the seller experience.

If you love building and shipping AI agents and features, building highly scalable systems, and raising the bar on productivity tools, we’d love to talk to you.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Shape the service architecture and technical roadmap to scale to millions of users, balancing velocity, compliance, privacy, and reliability across the ecosystem.
  • Influence across teams to establish shared engineering practices, reusable platforms, and mentorship that materially improves developer productivity.
  • Lead operational excellence for owned areas, driving incident response, postmortems, automation, and systemic fixes to reduce toil and improve reliability.
