Responsibilities
  • Drive vision, strategy, and roadmap for collaboration experience that SMBs have with customer, vendors, and partners outside of their business.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to integrate AI‑enhanced behaviors and agentic capabilities within the Teams experience.
  • Maintain a customer‑centric perspective, deeply understanding feedback and using insights to inform improvements.
  • Write clear functional specs, partner with engineering, and ensure high‑quality experience delivery.
  • Establish and measure OKRs; use data, experimentation, and telemetry to evaluate success.
  • Partner with engineering, design, CX, data science, and research.
  • Engage internal and external customers to gather feedback.
  • Champion product craft and design excellence.
  • Contribute to a healthy, collaborative team culture.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Demonstrated industry experience designing, specifying, measuring and shipping software and service product experiences.
  • Excellence in user experience design, customer and competitive insights, and data mindset that drives outcomes.
  • Established experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • Experience utilizing AI tools within the product building process.
  • Established experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt as business needs evolve.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, learn new technologies and products efficiently, and contribute effectively in a fast‑changing environment.


Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
