Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

• Own the product roadmap for agentic workflows targeting information workers across key verticals.
• Define how users interact with, supervise, and trust autonomous agents — the core UX problem of the agentic era.
• Design evaluation frameworks to measure agent quality, and translate findings into product improvements.
• Track the competitive landscape and identify differentiation vectors.
• Navigate compliance, legal, and go-to-market gates to ship externally.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• AI-native mindset — you prototype with prompts, evaluate model outputs firsthand, and build your own workflows on top of AI and agents.
• Deep understanding of agentic systems — multi-step planning, tool use, failure modes, model routing; you can reason about these at a technical level.
• Enterprise productivity domain knowledge — you understand knowledge worker workflows and the M365 ecosystem.
• Ability to ship in ambiguity — translating novel agentic capabilities into crisp, shippable specs is the job; standard PM playbooks don't fully apply here.
• Stakeholder navigation — proven ability to align engineering, design, research, legal, and leadership in a large org.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
