Senior Product Manager
Microsoft
We are Microsoft's AI, building multi-agent systems that serve consumers and enterprise users worldwide. Our focus: agentic workflows that let information workers delegate real tasks to AI agents that operate across M365, the web, and legacy systems.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for agentic workflows targeting information workers across key verticals.
- Define how users interact with, supervise, and trust autonomous agents — the core UX problem of the agentic era.
- Design evaluation frameworks to measure agent quality, and translate findings into product improvements.
- Track the competitive landscape and identify differentiation vectors.
- Navigate compliance, legal, and go-to-market gates to ship externally.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- AI-native mindset — you prototype with prompts, evaluate model outputs firsthand, and build your own workflows on top of AI and agents.
- Deep understanding of agentic systems — multi-step planning, tool use, failure modes, model routing; you can reason about these at a technical level.
- Enterprise productivity domain knowledge — you understand knowledge worker workflows and the M365 ecosystem.
- Ability to ship in ambiguity — translating novel agentic capabilities into crisp, shippable specs is the job; standard PM playbooks don't fully apply here.
- Stakeholder navigation — proven ability to align engineering, design, research, legal, and leadership in a large org.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
