Overview

Microsoft's Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS) exists to help services partners modernize how they build, deliver, and scale offerings on Microsoft Platforms. Our Technical Team works at the intersection of strategy and execution—partnering with Systems Integrators (SIs) and Enterprise Services Integrators (ESIs) to transform delivery models, build repeatable offerings, and accelerate AI-driven solutions that create durable customer and commercial impact.

Our EPS team is looking to hire a Partner Technology Strategist (PTS) to help service partners move from strategy to shipped outcomes —turning ideas into roadmaps, roadmaps into builds, and builds into scalable, co-sell-ready offerings.

As a Partner Technology Strategist for Services partners, you will be a trusted technical advisor responsible for driving the execution of partner technical strategy across one or more SI / ESI accounts. You work closely with Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Partner Solution Architects (PSAs), and partner technical leaders to help services partners, modernize delivery, develop repeatable services, and adopt Microsoft technologies in ways that align to real customer demand.

In this role, there will be concentrated emphasis on structured execution, orchestration, and delivery—operating within established engagement models and playbooks.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, and we’re dedicated to this mission across every aspect of our company. Our culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset and encouraging teams and leaders to bring their best each day. Join us and help shape the future of the world.

Responsibilities

Translate partner strategy into executable technical plans

  • You help create and drive mid-term technical roadmaps aligned to partner business priorities, Microsoft solution areas, and Partner Business Plans. You support partners in turning strategy into scoped, time-bound engagements with clear outcomes, artifacts, and follow-through.

Enable services partners to build repeatable, scalable offers

  • You guide partners through “build-to-consume” motions—supporting workshops, architecture sessions, proof-of-concepts, offering validation, and activation activities that help transform traditional services into repeatable, market-ready offerings (IP-enabled services, packaged solutions, or specialized practices).

Act as a trusted technical advisor to partner delivery leadership

  • You build relationships with partner technical stakeholders (e.g., CTO org, delivery leads, senior architects), helping them connect business outcomes to technical decisions and clearly position Microsoft technologies against competitive alternatives in a services context.

Orchestrate Microsoft technical resources effectively

  • You coordinate with PSAs, specialist teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure partners have the right technical expertise at the right time—sequencing work, removing blockers, and keeping engagements focused and outcome-driven.

Drive AI-first and modern delivery transformation

  • You support services partners as they modernize delivery using AI, automation, and cloud-native patterns—helping them adopt emerging Microsoft technologies and integrate them into real-world delivery models, not just concepts or demos.

Execute with structure, measurement, and operational rhythm

  • You manage partner engagements using clear milestones, artifacts, and review rhythms—tracking progress, surfacing risks early, and ensuring work moves from envisioning into execution and activation.

Contribute to scalable impact across the services ecosystem

  • You reuse and contribute to standardized playbooks, packaged engagements, and best practices, helping the Tech Team scale its impact across multiple SI / ESI partners without reinventing approaches for each engagement.
