We’re looking for a Senior Campaign Designer at the intersection of culture, advertising, brand and product to help design and deliver culture‑led, product‑first brand campaigns, built for today’s media ecosystem.

This role is for a designer immersed in entertainment, pop culture, social and digital platforms with a visual point of view, and the ability to translate trends into high‑impact campaign systems that will create resonance and cultural following for Microsoft brand and our products.

This is a hands‑on, creative excellence role designed for experienced and driven designers who care deeply about craft and are eager to contribute to the world-class brand studio.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on design product and brand campaigns rooted in culture, spanning social, digital, and integrated marketing moments.
  • Build campaign design systems and toolkits that enable resonant expression across platforms, formats, and regions.
  • Partner closely with creative directors, strategists, writers, motion designers, and external agencies to bring campaign ideas to life.
  • Translate cultural insights and visual trends into distinctive, modern Microsoft campaign expressions.
  • Execute high‑craft design across still, motion, and mixed media—ensuring work performs in channel while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Present campaign concepts and design rationale clearly to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Contribute to a quality studio culture grounded in collaboration, inclusivity, and creative excellence.


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Design, Fine Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Visual Communications or related art field AND 4+ years experience in art design or a related art field working on computer games or entertainment. OR equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop and emergent AI-first tools.

Additional or preferred qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Advertising Campaign Design, Visual Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in consumer product marketing, brand campaigns, or go‑to‑market design—either in‑house or agency.
  • Background in direct‑to‑consumer brands or consumer‑focused companies.
  • Understanding of campaign production workflows, including art direction, motion, stills, and multi‑format delivery.
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional campaign thinking, cultural relevance, and executional excellence across channels.
  • Taste and discernment in campaign design and the ability to identify, elevate, and advocate for work that is culturally resonant and emotionally compelling


Art IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
