Responsibilities

This is a Delivery Management leadership role within AI Business Solutions, Asia based out of the Global Center for Innovation and Delivery (GCID) accountable for endtoend project portfolio delivery, escalation management, and financial health. The role will be responsible for a portfolio of projects being executed in India and will act as the primary escalation point to the customer’s leadership team of their project portfolio for complex delivery issues. Partners with area, regional ,account team and sales stakeholders in India to drive consensus and present a One Microsoft view to the customer. Role ensures compliance through project health governance, influences deal construct during presales, drive sustainable growth, optimizes resource utilization across their projects and maintains a healthy project portfolio. As people manager will build delivery governance capability of project managers through strong people leadership.

This role ensures disciplined execution, customer success, and strong people leadership across multiple concurrent AI Business Solutions engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Supports strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the customer portfolio, often as part of a steering committee, to ensure delivery is on track and major issues are being anticipated, identified, and managed.

  • Be the Microsoft Delivery Leader to the Customers for their project portfolio responsible for managing customer stakeholders and internal stakeholders (across Area/Region/ATU/STU) to drive consensus and provide a One Microsoft view to customer in project situations.

  • Recognizes opportunities, creates a shared vision and direction for the portfolio. Proactively reshapes portfolio to maximize consumption or active usage and drive agentic AI led transformation engagements for our customers.

  • During Presales stage , adds input into deal construct and deliverability early in the pre-sales cycle. Sets expectations through pre-sales reviews on conditions of approval and throughout the engagement to tactically direct the Project Managers.

  • Owns the financial health of the portfolio (e.g., accurate forecasting and portfolio planning, cost management, and utilization, skills, and capacity planning).

  • Supports and contributes to rhythm of business (ROB) and forecasting. Ensures Project Managers' adherence to internal financial rhythms of business (ROBs).

  • Leverages strategic partners for business growth, use existing mechanisms/processes to use partner teams in delivery. Act as an escalation point and interface with partner organizations for any delivery /quality issues related to partners in their portfolio.

  • Drives delivery excellence, maturity, and quality ensuring appropriate use of Microsoft and industry methodologies. Monitors the health and risk profile of individual projects through Project Health Reviews.

  • Oversees the Project Managers assigned to their team. Acts as the primary escalation point for project issues in portfolio. In escalations will work to establish consensus and a unified message to the customer. Managers deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring. Define team objectives and outcomes. Help the team adapt and learn. Attract and retain great people.



Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 20+ years’ experience in technology solutions delivery , consulting/professional services, project management, practice management, or related field OR equivalent experience.

OR

  • Master’s degree in related field AND 14+ years’ experience in technology solutions delivery, consulting/professional services delivery, project management, practice management, or related field OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience leading customer engagements with India / Asia Enterprise customers and working with Customer and Internal Stakeholders as a delivery leader delivering enterprisescale engagements with customers on Microsoft solution stack.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ experience in complex delivery management for enterprise level business solutions implementations OR equivalent experience. Strong background in enterprise delivery governance, multiproject oversight, and stakeholder management

  • 3+ years people management experience. Proven experience managing project/program managers delivering large, complex technology or consulting engagements.

  • Experience of driving a portfolio of large transformational projects as a delivery leader at a technology/IT services organization. Experience delivery management on Low Code AI Business Solutions, Modern Workplace, M365 Copilot, OR similar AI led digital transformation solutions for enterprise customers at scale would a plus.

  • 8+ years project financial management experience.
