Overview

We are looking for a Finance Manager for AI Business Solutions and Security business, to join Belux Finance Team, covering Belgium and Luxembourg. The AI Business Solutions and Security Finance Manager, will have the unique opportunity to align revenue targets with market opportunities by driving customer adoption of our AI Business Solutions and Security Solutions. The role will focus on our end to end product stack under AI business solutions ranging from M365 to Copilot and our Security solutions across billed and consumed revenue. This role will allow you to develop deep knowledge of the AI Business Solutions product stack and deliver actionable insights to business partners, identifying new opportunities for revenue growth and usage, while ensuring compliant conduct of business activities. As the AI Business Solutions and Security Finance Manager you will be the finance partner of country business leaders across Sales, Marketing and Customer Success units, as well as an integral member of a global community of Corporate and Area Finance experts.



Responsibilities

Prioritization

  • Perform and review analysis of present and future financial performance, financial plans (e.g., expected returns, resource allocation, investment opportunities) and economic transactions (e.g., customer deals, commercial partnerships, etc.) for AI Business Solutions & Security products.

  • Understand competitive market insights, provide thought leadership to challenge business leads around new business opportunities and growth road map landscape.

  • Delivers results through tracking performance, report accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results. Manages the rhythm of the business for area of responsibility including monthly close, recurring business review preparation, and future looking views. Generates relevant and actionable insights to drive the business forward.

  • Develops and leverages relationships with customers and partners to bolster consumption and usage, and to understand and manage business risk. Collects customer feedback data and applies data analysis techniques to improve customer experience. Builds strong relationships with business partners and even with customers at senior levels. Designs and negotiates solutions to complex financial issues with customers. Engages with customers and partners on their wider relationships with Microsoft. Serves as advocate for Microsoft and its customers. Understands customers' businesses to plan growth. Manages balance between customer centricity, enablement of sales, and cost effectiveness.

Partnership

  • Share business insights and advances solutions and action plans to drive business and commercial leader goals and short-term accountabilities. Provides credible insights into industry benchmarks and trends, performance improvements, and growth. Facilitates solving complex issues. Manages and executes processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Applies understanding of the broader Microsoft context to offer solutions to ensure organizational objectives are met. Develops and manages strategies to proactively mitigate, or reactively address, potential adverse effects of macroeconomic and/or geopolitical risks. Articulates a comprehensive view of financial results and approaches leaders can implement based on deep understanding of business partner and counterpart work context and situation. Considers competing views and alterative solutions when formulating recommendations for financial plans and forecasts.

  • Conceptualizes and designs new approaches to how financial data is collected and evaluated to impact future outcomes and decisions.

  • Drives improvements in data management through automation. Applies understanding of advanced technology to accomplish business goals and to provide greater depth of analysis.

  • Understands the interconnections between data, information, and results and translates this into forward looking narratives and forecasts. Provides clarity and alignment with senior leaders. Implements creative ways to show patterns and draw conclusions to help drive decisions and clearly communicate findings. Generates actionable plans based on complex results, ambiguous findings, and multi-year time horizons. Articulates understanding and awareness of business partner situation.

Projects

  • Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance. Influences leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modeled throughout the organization. Drives a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust. Advocates, educates, and promotes best practices and new developments. Encourages asking questions and identifying risks to compliance. Champions Microsoft privacy, security, and ethical standards. Advances key compliance initiatives.



Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND solid experience in post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND good experience in post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
      • OR equivalent experience.
  • Demonstratable experience in Forecasting and P&L Analysis across multiple lines of business
  • Demonstrated experience in Matrix Organizations, working up to Leadership level
