Support Engineer - Corporate Technology

Corporate Technology develops systems and processes to support the core infrastructure functions within the firm including Treasury, Middle Office, Operations, Finance and Compliance.

The Role

This role is within the Corporate Technology Support & DevOps Team. The technology stack includes amongst other technologies Python, Scala, Java, Angular, Kafka and various AWS platforms.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day Support for multiple systems across MLP
  • Hands on ops tasks to improve the software delivery process and user experience
  • End to end support for projects involving for Middle Office and Operations
  • Drive process improvements via automation and the use of AI
  • Lead application onboarding initiatives

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience working in a support role specifically in Financial Services Institutions
  • Major in Computer Science preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork and analytical skills
  • Some level of development skills is desirable
  • AWS Cloud experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to any situation quickly
  • Strong interpersonal skills - hardworking, friendly, honest, enthusiastic
  • Strives to drive continuous improvement
