Business Unit Control – Treasury
Principal Responsibilities
- P&L Explains – provide P&L explains and variance commentary to relevant stakeholders globally across all asset classes for Treasury related activity.
- Senior Management Reporting – preparation of daily, weekly & monthly reporting and analytics for senior management team regarding allocation of firm’s capital across asset classes & accompanying returns.
- Coordination Across Teams- act as a liaison across across Middle Office, Treasury, Operations, Finance & Senior management to deliver on new & ongoing initiatives.
- Short and Long Term Projects – continued enhancement of existing tools, new builds, etc.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Treasury or Funding Product Control role highly desired.
- Specifically working with funding sources, financing, margin, leverage, bonds & other short or long term liquidity sources.
- Proven success interacting cross-functionally, specifically with investment professionals and senior management.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented; Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
- Strong excel skills.
- Experience with:
- Senior Management reporting
- Treasury mandates; capital allocation to varying asset types, calculating returns of liquid & illiquid capital deployment.
- Risk-Based P&L Explained & P&L Attribution
- P&L controls & reconciliations
- Automation/process improvement
- Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to Millennium’s reputation and success
- Outstanding verbal and communication skills, with ability to interact with individuals of all levels
- Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
