Summary:

  • Millennium is seeking a driven and detail-oriented operations specialist to join our Operations team.

  • This position will offer exposure to various markets and the opportunity to work between several teams globally in the firm as well as directly with

  • portfolio managers and our Prime Brokers.

  • The successful candidate will have the initiative to seek out opportunities to work on strategic projects and be able to manage them through completion, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.

  • They will also be on a small team with broad product exposure to various bond products, including domestic and other non-dollar.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with firm counterparties.

  • Reconciliation of trading affirmation/confirmation platforms for T0 matching to ensure all breaks are cleared and accounted for on a daily basis.

  • Research/Resolve breaks for Rates/Credit/FX/Equity derivative products and escalate to resolve on a daily basis with Millennium trading desk and portfolio managers.

  • Work closely with Global Middle Office and Operations.

  • Provide a daily report EOD for all outstanding items.

  • Onboarding of new brokers on to the T0 matching platforms.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Strong product and working knowledge of either two
    products-Rates, Credit, FX and Equity Derivatives.

  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline
    (finance, economics, accounting, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with PM’s and brokers.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Proficiency with Excel.

  • Well- organized, detail- oriented; able to multi-task and keep track of various deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge and experience with CTM.
