Equities Analyst Program – London
We are looking for highly skilled individuals with original ideas to join our Equities Analyst Program, a partnership between Millennium and UBS. During the first year, Analysts will train with Senior Associates at UBS in Equity Research before joining a Portfolio Management Team at Millennium.
The first year of training at UBS will consist of:
- Extensive training in valuation and accounting from the UBS Research Academy
- Rotations through multiple coverage verticals (e.g. Consumer, Tech, Industrials, Energy, Financials) to provide education on different business models, industry drivers and approaches to valuation
- Exposure to the UBS trading desk in addition to the research and specialist sales teams
- Checkpoint assessments to apply learning to real life market scenarios
- Frequent communication with members of the UBS and Millennium Program and support from the team to provide supplemental training to ensure success
During the second year of training, Analysts will be placed on a Portfolio Management Team to:
- Conduct fundamental financial analysis to assess investment opportunities
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models and valuation analyses
- Explore research avenues such as earnings calls, transcripts, public filings and relevant data
- Analyze and maintain market data, industry data, and alternative data
- Collaborate closely with sell-side and other buy-side analysts to help manage information flow
- Communicate due diligence findings with investment team and provide recommendations on strategy
- Strengthen coverage and industry knowledge by attending industry events, conferences, and speaking with third party professionals and consultants
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree candidates graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 with a strong academic record
- Preferred majors: Economics, Math, Engineering, Finance, Statistics
- Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solvers with a desire to contribute to Millennium’s success
- Strong passion for the financial services industry and investing
- Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, high pressure, constantly evolving environment
- Thorough, tenacious, resourceful, and resilient
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to contribute and manage time efficiently while understanding urgency
- Strong Excel skills
- Financial modeling interest/experience
