Our Capital Markets Advisory Group structures and executes customized solutions and advises clients on all aspects of complex debt, equity, and hybrid transactions for public and private situations. Our independence and objectivity, coupled with our direct and long-standing institutional buy-side relationships, inform our market views and strengthen the quality of our execution, leading to successful, bespoke transactions for our clients. Solutions for our clients address a broad range of uses, including buyouts, growth capital, platform formation, refinancings, restructurings, recapitalizations, balance sheet clean-up, rescue financing, project financing, and public listings. Debt products include ABLs, term loans, DIP/exit financing, investment grade, high yield, mezzanine and unitranche offerings. Equity products include structured equity, platform company financing, private investments in public equity (PIPEs), corporate and portfolio recapitalizations, IPO advisory and public company and Board of Directors advisory. In IPOs, we provide guidance on preparation, advice on key decisions and manage the syndicate banks. The Group engages in direct dialogue with a wide range of institutional investors (including private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, alternative asset managers, bank and non-bank lenders, sovereign and pension funds and family offices) to market and structure highly bespoke solutions for our corporate clients across sectors and stages.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides in-depth quantitative financial analysis as it pertains to business, industry and economic forecasting
  • Identifies emerging market trends and regulatory changes within the investment and advisory domains and develops strategies to secure investment opportunities and expand the firm's presence within the market
  • Constructs financial models, company valuations and merger & acquisition transaction comparisons based on research findings and client analysis
  • Interprets data concerning price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks and economic influences relevant to investments
  • Assists in the preparation of offering memoranda, transaction-related documentation and client presentations
  • Gathers industry, regulatory, and economic information, company financial statements, financial periodicals and publications in order to extract relevant data on financial histories for the forecasting of future potentials

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial concepts; ability to analyze and value businesses
  • Some experience in Investment Banking (corporate finance/M&A) or equivalent is essential
  • Results driven and able to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Proven team player who is able to effectively interact with a wide variety of internal groups and clients
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite (Excel a must) and financial reporting skills

Expected Salary Range: $250,000
