About the Role

This role sits within the EMEA Finance team and supports the financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance of the Firm’s UK LLP and European entities. The position offers broad exposure across management reporting, statutory and regulatory requirements, and financial control, working closely with senior stakeholders across EMEA and New York.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems.

Responsibilities

Management Reporting

  • Produce weekly financial dashboards to support business performance monitoring.

  • Prepare quarterly variance analysis with clear commentary on key drivers.

  • Analyse non-compensation expenditure, including Travel and Client Entertainment.

  • Partner with the Finance Director to develop and maintain rolling forecasts for the financial year.

  • Support the development and enhancement of management information across the UK LLP and European entities.

Statutory & Regulatory Reporting

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns (monthly, quarterly, and annually).

  • Produce quarterly and annual regulatory reports in line with applicable requirements.

  • Support ICARA reporting and forecasting processes.

  • Prepare annual P11D and PSA returns and liaise with external advisers where required.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors and US Finance teams.

  • Prepare and review journals as part of the monthly close process.

Other Responsibilities

  • Respond to ad hoc requests from the Europe Finance Director, New York Finance, EMEA Business Management, and senior leadership.

  • Contribute to process improvements and the enhancement of financial controls and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, management reporting, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong track record of improving processes and driving change.

  • Advanced Excel skills (including lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis).

  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience within financial services preferred.

  • Experience working in an international or multi-entity environment is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with Workday ERP is desirable but not essential.
