Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial advice and services to its clients including brokerage, investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit & lending, deposits & cash management, annuities, insurance, retirement, and trust services.

The Private Banking Group Distribution Team is seeking a high potential candidate (Training Associate), who will support the office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The Training Associate will assist with creation and project management of various sales training initiatives, ensuring an efficient and impactful execution, while remaining compliant with applicable rules, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support PBG Distribution COO Team in the design, creation, implementation and measurement of key sales training and professional development initiatives for PBG Distribution members and PBG training engagement within Wealth Management, International, E*TRADE and Workplace channels
  • Own content management for training resources and support creation of new materials. Includes managing annual review process and timelines, creating and editing training content, engaging key stakeholders across different teams, and following the Compliance review process
  • Assist with the program and project management of key training and professional development initiatives including managing logistics, drafting invitations and communications to PBG Distribution team, and keeping up to date participant reporting
  • Support execution of PBG Distribution New Hire Training Events and manage new hire curriculum updates
  • Assist with creation of PBG Distribution Culture communications, registration sites, and manage event logistics
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to design effective training resources and programs
  • Excellent relationship building, business development and service skills and have the desire and drive to consistently achieve results
  • Strong interpersonal collaboration and team skills including working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work with and present to senior management
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities and tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
