Division Profile

The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.

Position Summary

This position will support user acceptance testing , requirements gathering, test planning and execution of Analytics, Data and AI driven platforms in the Investment Platforms organization. These include both backend and front-end applications included Next Best Action (NBA), Manager NBA and Query Management Tool (QMT). These tools are used to create opportunities based on lead and client insights for financial advisors. The opportunities and ideas range across MS Wealth Management, E*Trade, and MS@Work. The UAT Lead/Business analyst is accountable for coordinating all aspects of platform development, testing, planning and deployment. The role will include being part of Agile squad and ceremonies.

Key Responsibilities

- UAT lead for the Analytics and Data Platforms squad. Responsible for user acceptance testing, planning, creating test scenarios and checkout support.

- Helping business partners articulate their requirements for the supported platforms (NBA, Manager NBA, QMT and others)

- Enhancing the platform experience by including client data, behavior, and activity (insights) into opportunities and ideas to engage with clients, non-clients and financial advisors Supporting the project management needs of executing on analytical projects

- Executing ad-hoc analysis by utilizing various tools and visualization capabilities

- Developing presentations for management and key decision makers

- Liaise with technology and business areas to drive prioritization decisions, data requirements, implementation, testing and maintenance

- Raise data quality concerns and issues; partner with Data Quality team to assess and remediate

- Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations

- Documenting 'as is' and 'to be' processes and business /functional requirement documents, including data flow, business rules, and use cases

- Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and iterative development principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls

- Assist with Scrum ceremonies and drive ongoing Sprint planning / release planning

- Assist in the change management and QA/UAT Testing phases of the project

- Assist in coordinating business unit subject matter expert meetings in order to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements

Key Deliverables

- Testing and Process documentation

- UAT, Business requirements, and user story documentation

- Recommendations for improvements, solutions, and respective implementation plans

Experience

- 3-5 years' experience in financial services / program management

- Bachelor's Degree required

- Experience with Agile, JIRA and traditional SDLC preferred

Required Skills

- Analytical mindset with a focus on managing multiple projects with varying degrees of priority

- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional initiatives

- Proven experience developing successful partnerships with both Technology and Business stakeholders

- Strong listening skills and verbal/written communication with ability to tailor message to audience

- Demonstrated leadership in setting strategy and driving agenda

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently

- Ability to work independently and possess strong sense of accountability and ownership

- You might also have:

- Application and/or SW testing experience preferred.

- Experience in SQL scripting preferred, but not required.

- Aptitude in structuring and solving data related problems
