You will:

- Expand the Supplier Diversity Program in other regions mainly within Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and possibly India
- Conduct due diligence on potential suppliers for Europe and other regions and provide recommendations to the senior Sourcing Professionals
- Manage the external relationships with supplier diversity external affiliates in Europe to ensure the memberships are maintained and the program is positively marketed
- Oversee the supplier diversity reporting for Europe; develop and utilize metrics to measure performance against goals
- Support the Morgan Stanley Small Business Academy and lead the efforts for businesses in EMEA and possibly India
- Help support the Modern Slavery Act compliance initiative for Europe

You have:

- At least five (3) years of experience in supplier diversity and/or sourcing
- Communication: speaks and writes clearly and concisely, and effectively communicates with internal and external parties
- Teamwork: works across functional areas to achieve goals
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Excellent computer skills - advance level Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s Degree

This role sits In the Corporate Services division, which provides solutions that enable Morgan Stanley’s workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients. This is a Director level position within Sourcing & Procurement, which is responsible for procurement (e.g., purchasing and supply chain activities), as well as vendor management (e.g., business requirements gathering, sourcing strategy, competitive and market assessments, negotiation, contracting, and relationships associated with outsourced services).
