Within Morgan Stanley, the Product team is responsible for a comprehensive B2B, B2C and B2B2C offering designed to help companies and their employees meet their financial goals, through trusted and modern workplace financial digital solutions, including Equity Edge Online by Morgan Stanley, E*Trade.com, Shareworks by Morgan Stanley, and more. The product team spans across the U.S, including NY, GA, UT, CA, and CO, and Internationally, including Canada and Hungary.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an innovative, driven professional to join us as Assistant Vice President, Salesforce Product team within our Wealth Management Platforms team. You will become part of the B2B Salesforce Product team who are responsible for the Quote to Cash product lifecycle within our B2B Salesforce instance. The team is responsible for the smooth and efficient functioning of the product, including agile ceremonies, requirements gathering and working closely with business partners to uncover unmet needs. This individual will serve as the key contact for business partners for our contracting and quoting experiences within Salesforce, and be responsible for developing a prioritized backlog that ensures we can meet business demand for our users within Salesforce.

The candidate should have deep knowledge of the product development lifecycle, experience as seasoned Salesforce product manager, exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently, find creative solutions to resolve issues and identify process enhancements, execute tasks and projects on a timely basis, and communicate effectively and responsively with all colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review and analysis of business processes to support ongoing enhancement in Salesforce CRM.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and document operational pain points and project scope.
  • Work with the development squad and internal subject matter experts to support business process evolution.
  • Be a resident Salesforce expert advising senior business line stakeholders.
  • Provide training to stakeholders across business lines on best practices and recommended processes in Salesforce.
  • Help develop and support our short-term and long-term product strategy to ensure we achieve our stated business outcomes, strategic and integration priorities.
  • Develop ongoing communications that share the progress and quantify the impact of team led initiatives and status, to ensure awareness, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Has the ability to tell a compelling story using product metrics/data, and visualization platforms such as Tableau – to facilitate productive interactions with business partners and stakeholders and influence data-driven decision making.
  • Establishes collaborative partnerships with the Morgan Stanley at Work business team to better understand their needs and align on future requirements, ranging from standardization of processes, leveraging market practices to the optimization of workflows, and sharing of best practices.
  • Builds strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to identify, execute, implement, and track process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications -

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Work experience as a Salesforce administrator; consulting experience and particularly process automation experience using Salesforce preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related field/experience preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in Digital Product Management, Management Consulting or Strategy, within the Financial Services industry
  • Previous experience working with large or multi-national companies helpful
  • Sets and carries out objectives, and fosters a culture of performance, continuous improvement
  • Excellent partnering skills; proven ability to collaborate with various levels of employees
  • Proven ability to seamlessly navigate and shift between strategic thinking and tactical activities, understanding the linkage and impact between them
  • Excellent analytical aptitude, sound judgment and experience with Excel / other data analysis tools
  • Able to identify operational and strategic issues and proactively drive solutions
  • Enjoys building initiatives from the ground-up and delivering on complex projects
  • Action oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and driven by customer success and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively
  • Self-starter with ability to lead new projects proactively and resourcefully
  • Ability to thoughtfully utilize data/metrics to inform business decisions
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical and written communication skills
  • Flexible, team player with the ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Expert proficiency with Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint required
  • Experience managing the Salesforce integration of; Zuora CPQ, Conga Composer, Conga Contracting and DocuSign an asset
