Associate_Data Quality Governance_Operational Risk - US Banks

The Associate/Analyst roles will report to a local AVP and will be responsible for supporting the first line of defense data quality risk management program for driving compliance with the Firm's Data Quality Policy and procedures.
This role requires regular interaction with other divisions across firm, technology, Bank Business partners, Bank Data Stakeholders, Compliance, Second Line Risk and Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities:
> Executing Global Data Quality Policy requirements to ensure compliance of prioritized data for the US Banks.
> Collaborate with Firm Data Office and other Divisional Data Offices to capture prioritized data and definitions in the firm repository, capture data flow with System owners and technology stakeholders.
> Create activities for technology delivery to develop dashboards, automate stakeholder communications, and provide data quality management solutions.
> Deliver educational sessions and empower stakeholders to perform their roles and responsibilities with available tools.
> Identify data related issues related to processes, technical issues, or controls impacting data Consumers.
> Monitor and report on data related issues, partner with issue owning division to ensure accuracy of issues reported and timely remediation.
> Monitor data quality controls and report to stakeholders for timely review and resolution.
> Maintain policy adherence for bank impacting prioritized data and remediate identified gaps.
> Develop materials, metrics, and dashboards for periodic management committee reporting.
> Document and maintain procedures and desktop procedures.
Qualifications/Skills required:
> Bachelor's degree in business, finance, other related fields
> 3-5years of professional experience, preferably data management and governance, data quality, data analysis, data lineage processes and/or financial services industry.
> Experience performing business analysis, writing business requirements, and creating mock dashboards.
> Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, both independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines.
> Attention to detail; strong analytical and investigative problem-solving abilities, with the ability to explain/support conclusions from data analysis.
> Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English; capable of writing documentation, explaining complex topics, and interacting positively with colleagues and stakeholders.
> Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
> Data certification (e.g., CDMP, etc.) is a distinct plus.
