Global Liquidity Product Analyst

· Produce regular daily, weekly and monthly market and competitor analysis necessary to facilitate the sales, marketing, and business management efforts
· Assist with custom market analysis, business planning and presentation development
· Liaise with sales desk and broader sales team to understand analysis and reporting needs
· Use and manage third party tools and databases in the analysis process
· Assist with the creation and development of generic sales presentations, customized client-specific pitch books, and product performance analyses as well as presentation materials in response to market data, economic events or regulatory change
· Assist with the preparation of client Request for Proposals and Due Diligence reports
· Work closely with marketing to ensure marketing pieces are updated as needed and to coordinate the quality creation of new materials
· Establish excellent communications across functional areas of the firm—including portfolio management, marketing, legal, compliance, and client service teams—to ensure seamless execution of product requests
· Gain a thorough knowledge of the business and market - products, portfolio management process, analysis and reporting systems, distribution channels, and sales strategy/process.
· Bachelor’s degree (with at least some course work Finance or economics) plus 1 -3 years experience ideally in the financial services industry
· Strong analytical skills – comfort managing and analyzing financial data
· Strong computer skills – high level of proficiency in basic tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, programming skills a plus
· Strong teamwork orientation
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $110,000 year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
