We’re seeking someone to join our team as (Vice President),We are looking for a senior leader to be a part of the divisional India COO/CAO organization. The role will report to the WIMT India CAO and India head of Architecture and Technology Delivery Mgmt. The present CAO team will report to selected individual. The role is Bengaluru based (preferred).
WM Technology
Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Technology Leadership & Strategy
This is Vice President position that drives innovation, develops technology roadmaps, and provides vision and strategic direction to align technology initiatives with long-term business objectives, fostering a culture of excellence, growth transformation across the organization.

What you’ll do in the role:
Strategy
• Work closely with the WIMT India CAO and Super Department heads to support all COO activities for the region. This includes BCP, Space Mgmt., Vendor Mgmt., People Engagement, recruiting improvements, Agile needs, work force strategy, talent development initiatives, Tech Philanthropy, Innovation support, Recognition programs, ED/VP meetings, mobility, mentorship, career programs and other key operational priorities.
• Define goals and a plan for each of the above priorities
• Ability to work with a global CAO/COO organization seamlessly
• Execution and Project/Program Management
• Engage with key stakeholders within and across wealth management for buy-in and partnering with internal and external groups as well as vendors for driving change across the organization
• Create a governance model and identify all stakeholders and work with them to create strategic, operational, tactical teams for execution and monitoring the India strategy
• Engage with vendors and organize quarterly business reviews (QBR) of our strategic vendors. Define and publish a calendar, set-up quarterly meetings, coordinate logistics, distribute/manage agenda, and facilitate each meeting to track progress
• Run meetings with senior management, and present status as well as agree on follow ups.
Reporting
• MIS/Reporting: Ability to understand reporting scenarios and suggest key views in the reports for the stakeholders (WM delivery managers and business managers). In parallel, work with tech team and business managers to assist in creating use cases and BRD documents.
• Review data, be able to structure it in a meaningful way
• Summarize the analysis, approach and recommendations to senior management. Create collateral for presentation to the WIMT India Operating Committee (OpCo) /senior mgmt.
Process Improvements
• Identify processes which need improvement due to duplicate effect, consumption of more time, inaccuracy, lack of organized protocol, large risk etc.
• Indicate gaps where improvement is possible and provide recommendations. Work with the required teams to execute on the recommendations.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Must Have attributes for this role: - At least 8+ years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
Master’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree with equivalent combination of professional training and 8+ Years of experience relevant with bel
• Ideal candidate must be a tenured VP from a Management Consulting background. Expertise in effectively executing IT strategy, delivery and complex initiatives. Ideally from a Big 4 Consulting + Financial Services Industry. Comfortable working with Managing Directors and Senior Leadership from India & USA
• Ability to lead teams and business functions.
• Ability to represent divisional stance to senior management and global stakeholders.
• Excellent excel and powerpoint skills. PowerBI knowledge is a plus
• Ability to build strong networks and partners across the organization.
• Influence and advocate new ideas and their adoption at all levels of the organization.
