The Wealth Management CAO (Chief Administrative Office) within Wealth Management (WM) was established to provide oversight of all business operations / financials across the WM segment. The CAO team implements governance and reports on operational procedures that help the segment operate more efficiently and effectively, which includes expenses, resource and work force strategy, talent, location strategy and others.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
As a member of the office of the WM CAO, this individual will focus on projects supporting work force strategy and governance, managing the downstream impacts for the Wealth Management Segment. These include HR and recruiting, real estate and location strategy, Vendor Management, etc., and the financial tracking of expenses against budget and resource management (both contingents and employees).
- This role will involve engagement at all levels in the Wealth Management segment including the senior leadership of each unit as well as their designated COOs.
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Drive WM furlough target by sending consistent follow ups to teams, and promoting wider utilization of the Furlough Tableau dashboard
- Track and manage WM vendor utilization to analyze resource footprint, vendor tiers / utilization, and vendor expenses
- Support with Contingent Management activities related to FieldGlass (onboarding), MER (Funding requests), etc.
- Manage and maintain an UpToDate Budget Tracker (this includes initiative details for Consulting, Temporary resources, etc. for WM Segment)
- Manage Events & Conferences, and Sponsorship reporting alignment to WM Event Tracker
- Ensure Contingent Labor Policy Compliance (Fieldglass) for WM
- Assist with implementation of the WM CAO’s Online Communication Hub for information sharing by creating/maintaining WM CAO Jive site (future central landing page for all WM CAO published dashboards and reports)
- Help launch and maintain T&E, Furlough and other Tableau dashboards and own periodical refresh and maintenance.
Skills Required:
- Experience in business administration, including consultant and employee onboarding, and vendor management.
- Experience in financials and budget management for large and complex organizations with proven ability to track expenses against budget.
- Proven experience in developing partnerships and successfully coordinating across various functions, partners, and stakeholders, globally
- Ability to formulate alternatives, identify recommended course of action and make appropriate decisions in a range of high impact situations.
- Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and to prepare meaningful reports/summaries from large data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately.
- Ability to develop in Dataiku or similar data science tools, use of Tableau or data visualization skill an added plus.
- Experience with onboarding and financial management tools like Fieldglass, People tracker, MSMER, and PPM etc.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a wide range of business management activities including finance, technology, operations, product & project management, and HR
- Professional experience in the financial services industry, Wealth Management, FinTech, or management consulting a plus
