Field Business Management oversees key business enablement functions for the US branch network, including but not limited to Financial Advisor Compensation, Asset Retention and Recovery, and the Former Advisor Program.
Job Description:
Associate / Analyst role to be a part of Field Business Management at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The primary responsibilities will be reporting, analysis and insights on trends and activities that are driving the results working closely with members of Wealth Management Field Home Office.
Position Responsibilities:
- Execute preexisting processes related to key Field Home Office functions.
- Point person with various corporate partners to conduct research and analysis, specifically with Human Resources, Finance and Technology.
- Collaborate with teams in Mumbai, NY, and Budapest to distribute a suite of management reporting and trend analysis produced on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Understand Wealth Management Home Office initiatives as a basis to perform analysis.
- Develop, implement and present policy specifications, key data and metrics to management.
- Leverage different data sources and methodologies to verify accuracy of outputs.
- Identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues and develop actionable recommendations.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Wealth Management or Industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills.
- Must be a self-starter and a quick learner, able to prioritize multiple projects and complete deliverables in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail.
- Possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership.
- Self-motivated and able to work on a strong team and high activity environment.
- Flexible in work style and able to work collaboratively with others on the team
- Demonstrated effectiveness with both oral and written communication.
