We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Internal Audit Operations team responsible for supporting business operations for the Internal Audit Department.
The Internal Audit Division (IAD) drives attention and resources to vulnerabilities by providing an independent and well-informed view and impactful messages about the most important risks facing our Firm. This is accomplished by performing a range of assurance activities to independently assess the quality and effectiveness of Morgan Stanley's system of internal control, including risk management and governance systems and processes. IAD serves as an objective and independent function within the Firm's risk management framework to foster continual improvement of risk management processes. This is an Associate level position (P2) within the Internal Operations and Quality Control family, which is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the department, supporting the ultimate delivery of high-quality assurance services.

What you'll do in the role:
- Supporting IAD Operations and Business Management function within IAD Chief Operating Officer (COO) Group in the execution of their deliverables in the area of financial and operational management including Consulting, Travel & Entertainment, Resource onboarding, Outsourcing Governance etc.
- Ensure a quality control framework is accurately applied whilst promoting a culture for efficiencies in IAD BM processes
- Drive effective communication and information exchange within the BM's including all their IAD groups and stakeholders
- Recommend enhancements and automation to IAD processes and reporting to ensure continuous improvement to overall IAD reporting and metrics production.
- Facilitate various review meetings and co-ordinate with action items with various stakeholders
- Engage with teams outside the department like sourcing, CS, IT to enable smooth execution of tasks having dependencies on these functions
- Participate in global initiatives by collaborating with a wide range of internal stakeholders
What you'll bring to the role:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, whilst meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
- Detail orientated with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to understand processes and strive for bringing efficiencies therein
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, with the ability to work independently when necessary.
- Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel (including Pivot, formulas, macros), MSForms, MS Lists, Power Automate etc.) and keen to learn and adopt emerging technologies like Gen AI applications, Alteryx or other low code tools
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
Coverage
- Hybrid working (4 days in office) Monday to Friday from 12:00PM to 9:00PM India time with flexibility on standard working hours for time sensitive matters (including India Public Holidays).
- Periodic evening calls with US and EMEA internal clients and vendors.
