We're seeking someone to join our Cloud Identity and Access Management team as a Cybersecurity Engineer in Cyber to assist with the design, build out, implementation and support of our Google Cloud Identity tenants.

This is Associate position that provides specialist cyber expertise and creates solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What you'll do in the role:

• Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.
• Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.
• This position will require 24/7 on-call rotation up to once every 10 weeks.
• Provide technical expertise and vision for our Google Cloud investments, particularly in the Identity space.
• Define technical architecture for our Google Cloud Identity platform in alignment with Firm standards and controls.
• Develop custom tooling and solutions to automate tasks and processes at enterprise scale.
• Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Identity-focused Cloud technology domains and platforms.
• Integrate, configure, document, and deploy compliant infrastructure and supporting services in Google Cloud.
• Troubleshooting problems, resolving root cause, and where possible, fixing the bug(s).

What you'll bring to the role:

• At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
• Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.
• Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
• Experience with designing and implementing Identity solutions in Google Cloud.
• Advanced understanding of the Google Cloud Identity platform and related technologies.
• Experience developing automated solutions using Python or related programming languages and tools such as Terraform.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading engineering projects.
• Ability to influence technical direction and drive innovation.
• Expert knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and Kerberos.
• Prior experience with providing IAM solutions for Google Cloud (e.g. policies, RBAC).
• Strong knowledge in providing Federated Identity solutions using providers such as PING Federate or Entra ID.
• Mentorship of senior and junior engineers.
