What you’ll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley Private Bank, NA is seeking a Vice President, Business Analysis in New York, New York to design technical solutions and document technical software specifications. Collaborate with Architecture leads to define the best software solution and system architecture fulfilling the business requirements. Define user journeys and collaborate with UX teams to create wireframes which will be used to develop new web and mobile application pages. Develop products throughout the software development lifecycle. Develop release strategy and release plans for product releases, lead the deployments and validate new features in production. Document the functionalities, procedures, architecture, data storage details and purpose of new system assets. Implement process and system improvements. Identify dependencies on internal teams and align the requested changes. Perform Data Analysis to identify enhancements, potential issues and impact on end users. Develop Migration plans. Design reports and internal tools. Review test cases for Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing and validate the testing results. Perform root cause analysis, impact assessments for identified bugs/issues. Define Key Performance Indices for product features. Update stakeholders on the product performance and key trends on user behavior. Maintain platform stability, security, and code usability. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
What you’ll bring to the role:
-Requires a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study.
-Requires three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as an Assistant Vice President, Associate, Manager, Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
-Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills:
- technology product management using Agile methodologies in JIRA;
- product lifecycle execution and management;
- working with stakeholders to determine roadmaps and prioritization;
- creating presentations for Stakeholder communication;
- consumer banking and wealth management technology including Distributed cloud, application programming interface (API), Mainframe, Mobile, and SQL;
- Client experience solutions using Figma;
- Digital payment solutions for cash management products including Debit cards, Credit cards, and Checks;
- Distributed cloud and Mainframe solutions;
- cross functional dependency management; data analysis, visualization, and reporting;
- test strategy planning and execution;
- Go-to market solutions and execution;
- Vendor solution management; and
- Measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $190,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
