Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (“MSPBNA”), as part of Wealth Management, offers banking and credit products and services, including securities-based lending, mortgage loans and home equity lines of credit primarily to Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s high net worth clients.

MSPBNA Home Loans is seeking a Vice President, Mortgage Training Specialist that is well versed in adult learning principles and methodologies, content development and delivery and is an experienced mortgage professional who will support the execution of business strategies, leading to the success of employees and teams within the mortgage lending department by working to ensure the alignment of individual, team, and organizational goals while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance with industry standards.

The person who fills this role has a history of managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and navigating competing priorities while demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills in order to collaborate with leadership to drive employee performance, enhance productivity, and support business objectives in a regulated financial environment.

This role will report to the Mortgage Training Manager and can be located in the Coppell or Tempe Office. Very limited travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage instructional design/delivery and mortgage expertise to aid in the design, development and delivery of training materials that support a variety of initiatives and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships in a matrixed environment.
  • Gather data from various resources, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Determine appropriate learning modality based on topic, content and business need.
  • Partner with Home Loans leadership in identifying opportunities to support business strategies that will impact efficiency gains across all roles.
  • Facilitate learning for both in person and virtual audiences.
  • Outline and implement review cycles, success measures and feedback analysis for all training programs and materials.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in utilizing Articulate Suite to design, develop and deliver interactive e-learning content and training materials.
  • Strong analytical skills with diligence and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships across all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and training methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, including the development and delivery of status updates, findings and trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design
  • 5+ years of mortgage industry knowledge, including an understanding of credit and complex mortgage scenarios for UHNW clients.
  • Experience in project management preferred.
