We’re seeking someone to join our Wealth Management Corporate Communications team as an Internal Communications Associate to support the development and execution of internal communications that drive awareness, engagement and alignment across the Wealth Management organization.
In the Corporate Communications department, we cultivate and protect the Firm’s powerful global brand and reputation, leveraging our resources across media relations, internal communications, philanthropy and digital strategy to ensure we present the Firm consistently in all that we do. We provide editorial support and strategic guidance to business partners, and liaise with the Firm’s businesses and departments on communications matters. This is an Associate level position within our Communications Job Family which is primarily responsible for developing internal communications aimed at Wealth Management employees.
This role is ideal for a strong writer and organized communicator who is eager to grow in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The Associate will support day-to-day internal communications initiatives, helping ensure messaging is clear, timely, accurate and aligned with Wealth Management and Firm priorities. The role will work closely with senior communicators, business stakeholders and cross-functional partners across Corporate Communications, Marketing, HR, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
What you'll do in the role:
Support the drafting, editing and coordination of internal communications across Wealth Management, including articles, announcements, leadership talking points, FAQs and field-facing materials.
Assist in the development and execution of internal communications plans to reinforce key business initiatives, organizational priorities and Firm strategy.
Help manage content delivery across internal channels, including intranet platforms, direct emails and leadership forums, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand and messaging standards.
Maintain familiarity with the Wealth Management project portfolio, key initiatives and release schedules to support coordinated and proactive communications planning.
Partner with senior communicators and business stakeholders to support urgent or time-sensitive communications as needed.
Leverage measurement tools, AI capabilities and best practices to help enhance communication effectiveness, reach and engagement.
Support special projects and reporting efforts, including editorial calendars, metrics dashboards and process improvements.
Continually look for ways to meet and exceed key business priorities, factoring in team/department priorities
What you'll bring to the role:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, concise and compelling messaging
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines simultaneously.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with cross-functional partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and AI tools; familiarity with intranet platforms and content management systems a plus.
Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment and a desire to learn and grow within Corporate Communications and Wealth Management.
Bachelor's degree required.
At least 2 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field; financial services experience a plus. Bachelor's degree required.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
