We’re seeking someone to join our team as Associate in Client Onboarding Reg & Data Svc to maintain, review, process, and report regulatory programs; ensuring the data and documentation required is collected for new clients or existing clients extending their business relationship with Morgan into new products/jurisdictions.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate position within Client Service & Relationship Management, which is responsible for managing internal and external client relationships. We do this by engaging in client service activities, optimizing the client experience, and managing vendor/external business partner relationships.

What you'll do in the role:
Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team.
Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements.
Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output.
Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution.
Strong understanding of market regulations to conduct remediations and clearing backlogs
Ability to support the activities of the team pertaining to European regulations such as SFTR, EMIR, MiFID II, US regulations such as QIB, QFC and UMR and APAC regulations such as HKPI, Chinext &NZW, by ensuring clients are onboard with the necessary regulation information and documentation.
What you'll bring to the role:
At least 2 to 6 years' relevant experience is required for this role
Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
Experience in market regulations like European Market Infrastructure regulations(EMIR) , Dodd Frank(DF) , Security based Swap Dealers(SBS) , Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) , Securities Financing Transactions Regulation(SFTR) , Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA 2111) , Qualified institutional buyer (QIB) ,Qualified Financial Contract Stay Protocol (QFC) , Unclear Margin Rules(UMR) , Sophisticated Municipal Market Professional certificates (SMMP) , Foreign Bank Certificate (FBC), HKPI, Chinext, New Zealand safe harbour, MIFID is required.
Understanding of KYC is a plus.
