Wealth Management (WM) is a global organization comprised of over 30,000 employees that provides world-class products and services to individuals, families and businesses when they need it the most. The Wealth Management Talent and Diversity Advisory team architects and drives an integrated strategy in partnership with the business, HR partners and other key stakeholders both internally and externally to effect change. We are looking for a motivated Talent and Diversity Director to join our team, supporting the Northeast Region.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Partner with and consult with leaders in WM to implement strategies focused on talent development, employee engagement, culture and inclusion

  • Leverage your expertise to create and implement solutions that will drive outcomes for the division

  • Cultivate relationships and partner with key stakeholders across the division and specifically the NE region to develop and implement strategies to support their businesses

  • Support local networking and client events, including providing logistical support, program management, and curating content

  • Develop and deliver initiatives, education and awareness programs that promote inclusion, including advising employee resource groups and councils

  • Consult with and advise leaders and key stakeholders on issues related to talent and diversity

  • Measure success of initiatives by leveraging outcomes and key results and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders

  • Liaise with external organizations to develop and deepen relationships in support of WM goals

  • Be open to travel to support market events in the NE region – spanning from the NY/NJ metro area through Maine

What you’ll bring to this role:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Human Resources, D&I, Talent Development, or consultant work focused on human resources or talent development

  • Direct experience leading talent and inclusion initiatives in a large matrixed organization

  • Experience working in a direct business function is preferable

  • Experience managing large events, including external client events

  • Experience working with employee resource/business resource groups, and/or inclusion councils

  • Proven track record of using data to drive strategy and key outcomes

  • Experience consulting with and building strong relationships with HR partners, senior leaders and employees at all levels

  • Ability to collaborate and work well across large matrixed teams, peers and colleagues to deliver results

  • Demonstrated ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced and geographically dispersed environment

  • Comfortable with data and analytics and using it to tell a story or support strategy

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
