Program Description
The individual would be part of the Latin America and US Offshore Sales team at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. The individual will support external sales team with maintaining business relationships with intermediary and institutional clients in Mexico and the US Offshore market. The position will be based in Mexico City.
Responsibilities:
- Support external sales team as an internal point person for existing and prospective clients in LatAm and the US Offshore market, such as Afores, Asset Managers, Private Banks, Advisors and Corporates.
- Work closely with the team to prepare business plans, forecasts, strategy implementation, and execution.
- Provide regular update and analysis on sales figures, tracking and coordinate efforts with operations.
- Active interaction with MSIM investment teams within Fixed Income, Equity, Multi-Assets, and Alternative Investments, to comply with clients and prospects requests.
- Coordinate client events, road shows and meetings, as well as logistics for these initiatives. Support with clients follow up.
- Maintain detailed client databases in firm CRM and communication with support areas as Reporting, Marketing, Legal and Compliance across MS.
Qualifications:
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Preferably studying Finance, Economics or Business related
- Graduation dates between December 2027 – June 2028
- Interest for sales, financial markets, asset management & quantitative analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly motivated and creative individual – takes initiative and objective oriented
- Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure. Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
- Skill to effectively prioritize, make the appropriate trade-offs as needed and perform various tasks simultaneously
