Technology Apprenticeship Program

We’re seeking apprentices to join our Technology Division for the Apprenticeship Program. This is a one-year apprenticeship program designed as an opportunity to learn more about the important role that Technology plays within the Firm. This structured program is designed to give apprentices insight into this division and an opportunity to develop and master the analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills needed to develop an exciting and rewarding career. The training will continue throughout the course of the program with structured learning sessions run by senior executives.

Application Development :

What you’ll do in the role:

The program has been designed to develop highly motivated technologists who partner with business to solve complex problems through technology. On joining, you will go through a training program that covers technology training as well as an overview of the financial services industry. There are senior manager presentations and professional skills workshops along the way as well to provide you with a well-rounded experience.

Apprentices spend one year working on live projects, sponsored by business aligned technology groups seeking technical solutions to real business needs. Projects are designed to integrate business concepts

and technical skills, reinforce values through teamwork, and provide a smooth transition to future work groups. The projects are presented to senior management and provide firsthand experience of working on a project from inception to delivery.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Interest and aptitude for technology coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding academic records along with success in summer jobs, internships, and extracurricular activities, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work and collaborate with others.
  • Experience in at least one of the programming languages among Java/C++/C# /C, strong hold on algorithms and data structures, and have knowledge of OOPS and Un


Cyber Track:

What you’ll do in the role:

The program has been designed to develop highly motivated technologists who partner with the business to solve complex cyber problems through technology. On joining Morgan Stanley, you would be absorbed by different departments in Cyber and Risk and work on different projects under supervision. While you continue to learn as part of the project you are assigned to, there will also be trainings to assist you with the project.

The apprentices will spend one year working on live projects, sponsored by business aligned technology groups seeking technical solutions to real business needs. Projects are designed to integrate business concepts and technical skills, reinforce values through teamwork, and provide smooth transition to future work groups. The projects are presented to senior management and provide a first-hand experience of working on a project from inception to delivery.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Keen interest in Cyber and Risk, related products and practices. Knowledge of latest AI tools and their practical applicability within the relevant skill set.
  • Basic understanding of concepts like data encryption, application security, network security
  • Interest and aptitude for technology coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good academic record along with success in summer jobs, internships, college projects and extracurricular activities, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work and collaborate with others.
  • Experience in at least one of the programming languages among Java/Angular/Python/C/C++ etc. Strong hold on data structures and algorithm with knowledge on OOPS concept and Linux.
