Our analysts look at economic, market, industry and company data to enhance the performance of clients' global portfolios and to help companies set their strategic direction.
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to join the Equity Strategy team, with a strong China focus. The team has been voted as the No.1 Equity Strategy team 8 years in a row since 2018 in the Institutional Investor Asia Research survey.

Responsible for equity strategy research and report drafting on different subjects including:
Index price target forecast, sector allocation recommendations and top-down stock picking and portfolio construction
Long-term thematic trend
Near-term market commentary
Perform detailed research analysis both quantitatively and qualitatively based on deep knowledge and understanding of equity market, equity index, market composition, earnings and valuation moves
Address client requests in a timely fashion, including performing the underlying analysis and drafting communication documents and emails
Conduct live client interaction including in-person meetings, live calls, webcasts and ad-hoc interactions
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills required (essential)
Experience in equity strategy research within a top tier sell side or buy side firm.
Experience in dealing with equity asset class concepts and performing both fundamental, thematic and quantitative analysis
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equity strategy research or relevant areas
Excellent communication skills both in writing and in live client interaction
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (reading and writing)
Experience with both the A-share market and the offshore China equity space strongly preferred
Experience with quantitative analytical skills leveraging AI capability strongly preferred
