Job Summary

The NetApp Public Cloud Services business unit is at the forefront of guiding customers to the public cloud, striving to deliver the transformational benefits of cloud technology to both existing and new customers. We are expanding our team and are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Product Manager for our cloud storage business.

In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of building the next-generation NetApp and Cloud hyperscaler co-engineered file and block storage solutions built on ONTAP in the Cloud. Your focus will be understanding customer pain points, prioritizing critical use cases, and leading the definition and delivery of key features into one of the fastest-growing sectors in the industry.

Job Requirements

  • Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and partner teams to define new capabilities and enhancements in NetApp’s first party file and block service offerings in the Cloud.
  • Prioritize feature requests and distill them into well-defined requirements.
  • Engage frequently with customers to understand their needs and act as their advocate in product planning.
  • Understand the cloud ecosystem, storage or infrastructure space, and the enterprise customer perspective on their adoption of cloud technologies.
  • Evangelize products and solutions to customers and industry audiences at small to large forums.
  • 5+ years in engineering, product management, professional services, technical marketing engineering, and/or business consulting.
  • Hands-on understanding of various enterprise SAN protocols including iSCSI, NVMe over TCP and associated solutions are highly desired.
  • Experience with enterprise databases like Oracle, virtualized environments like VMware vSphere, Cloud native frameworks like Kubernetes is highly recommended.
  • Hands-on understanding of Google Cloud/AWS/Azure, automation tooling (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes), storage, core data protection, virtualization, and disaster recovery capabilities required for enterprise deployments is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners in broad technology areas.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and collaborate across groups to achieve customer success.

Education

  • Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred and/or, relevant experience.
