Job Summary

NetApp IT’s Infrastructure Operations and Support (IOS) is a dynamic leading edge organization that designs, implements, and supports the technologies that enable the entire enterprise. IOS is seeking an experienced disaster recovery specialist to join dynamic team of technologists who are at the forefront of supporting and revolutionizing NetApp's worldwide infrastructure and services. As an Assurance Services Administrator, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, IT architects, Cybersecurity, support teams and developers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery plans to ensure the continuity of business operations in the event of a disaster. The ideal candidate also has a strong background in IT and a passion for ensuring the resilience of our organization,

Job Requirements

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans that align with business objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure disaster recovery plans are comprehensive and up-to-date.
  • Organize drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on disaster recovery procedures.
  • Monitor recovery operations and ensure minimal disruption to business activities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) are a plus

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices and standards
