Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Professional Services team in Japan.
By lead we mean:

• Have financial ownership of the P&L for the country’s professional services.

• Lead a team of services sales experts who drive the uptake of NetApp technology and services.

• Have oversight into a team of highly skilled and experienced consultants.

• Maintain close relationships with the local product sales organization to provide high-quality solutions to our customers

As a Senior Manager, Professional Service Area, you will...

Drive the closure of all committed deals.

Deliver accurate monthly services bookings/P&L forecast.

Ensure timely and successful delivery of all services engagements.

Staffing strategy of our services delivery workforce

Managing Resource mix between internal resources and external delivery partners to achieve the P&L objectives.

Define the territory key services priorities in line with the broader services strategy.

Actively engage in the quarterly business review (QBR)

Actively engage in the annual business planning and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.

Job Requirements

  • To succeed within this role, you will have the capability to guide both our team and customers to implement next generation data centric infrastructures.
  • You will play a central role on our customers’ journey to intelligent data infrastructures, distributed networks, implementing AI driven solutions to name but a few.
  • You will have the ability to build deal winning relationships with our sales team to ensure the professional service offering is integrated into all new and existing business.
  • Our team often plays a consultative role in large projects bring together multiple partners, integrators, and other partners so you will need to bring a deep understanding of the market landscape in Japan.
  • You will have experience in leading a team both from a technical and a personal perspective, ideally you will have been involved in driving the transformation of a consulting team to developing a cloud first mindset.
  • You probably have experience with a global high-tech vendor.
  • A passion for new technologies and an ability to articulate the business benefits our customers achieve with NetApp solutions is essential.
