Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our Public Sector sales team in Korea. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success in dealing with military-related institutions, government investment data centers, and the broader public sector. As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth within the public sector.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of NetApp's products and services to effectively align solutions with the specific needs of public sector clients, including military institutions and government data centers.
• Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the public sector.
• Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing, ensuring a thorough understanding of client requirements and delivering compelling value propositions.
• Navigate government procurement processes and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to design and propose custom solutions that meet the unique needs of public sector clients.
• Manage and grow existing accounts by delivering exceptional service and identifying new opportunities for expansion and collaboration.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and positioning.
• Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and market insights.
• Advocate for client needs within NetApp, ensuring that product development and customer service initiatives are aligned with public sector requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, with a strong emphasis on public sector clients, including military and government entities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.
• Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in Korean and proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience working with military-related institutions and government investment data centers.
• Familiarity with data management, cloud services, and IT infrastructure solutions.
• Established network within the public sector, including key contacts in military and government organizations.
