Job Summary
Azure NetApp Files team in Iceland creates new features for the service. Azure NetApp Files is an enterprise-class, high-performance file storage service that is fully integrated into Microsoft Azure.
It provides volumes as a service for file type cloud storage. This is one of the fastest and most secure file type cloud storage available in the industry. Packet with features for compatibility of different workloads for customers.
As a summer intern you will be writing various operations into the service in .NET. These operations allow executable actions into TEST and Production environments at the middle- and hardware layer.
You learn the ins and outs of enterprise size cloud software development. Work on complex problems across our system in a functional feature team.
Job Requirements
- Work on developing experimental operational features and products in cooperation with our internal engineering teams and partner Microsoft.
- Help the team by removing blockers and raise major issues proactively.
- Work on complex problems across our components in a cross functional team.
- Have adaptability in project change and priority shift.
Education
- Currently enrolled in a 3rd year BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Great communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
- Experience in C#, Git or other version control systems and REST APIs is a plus
- Systematic problem-solving approach
- A sense of ownership and drive
- Container technologies, preferably Kubernetes
