As an Solutions Engineer, you are the cornerstone to create customer value with our technology. We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales/Technical Sales expert in data storage and/or infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also have HLS experience either in-house or selling into these organizations.

This role needs to be located in the Bay Area, CA market to be near our customers and provide in-person partnership and face time.

Job Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience in areas listed below:
• Successfully capture technical and business requirements to create winning proposals in conjunction with your sales, services and support team.
• Lead product discussions, demonstrations, and proof of concepts with our customers to help them experience the simplicity and value of NetApp solutions.
• Effectively leverage shared technical personnel to drive successful implementation of NetApp solutions, deeper relationships and better understanding of NetApp’s products and services.
• Actively develop and maintain expertise on complementary and competitive technologies.
• Understand financial and operational requirements to create ROI models that meet the customer’s needs.
• Self-directed and proactive in navigating sales campaigns, cultivating customer relationships, and responding to customer needs.
• Ability to travel within the area/market mentioned in this posting on a regular basis (local commuting from residence).

Education

• Bachelor's degree or additional years of experience.
