The Role

We are seeking a Lead Generalist, Employee Services (ES) to join our team in UCAN (United States and Canada). As the Lead Generalist, your role will involve empowering a dynamic team of Generalists, working closely with employees, HRBPs, and partner teams to deliver service excellence and drive operational and process improvements. You'll build partnerships, manage programs, analyze trends, and use data insights to inform decisions that align with the overall business strategy. Collaborating with the ES Manager, you’ll define project tasks and ensure operational support for new service deployments.

As a peer lead, you’ll help support and elevate team performance and areas for improvement alongside the ES Manager. You'll continuously assess and prioritize team projects, ensuring quality and direction based on feedback and progress. Additionally, you will actively manage vendor relationships and coordinate the intake of new services to optimize ongoing operations. You add business value by using your strategic position and deep partnerships within the broader Talent Experience Operations team in UCAN and across the globe to ensure we focus on the most impactful priorities that help to scale talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive critical projects and initiatives that support the evolving needs of talent operations, while influencing stakeholder teams across regions.

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to design and implement efficient processes for core talent operations, ensuring consistent delivery of policies and programs in the US and the emerging Canada region.

  • Enhance the employee experience by gathering feedback, investigating potential solutions, and collaborating on root cause analysis to influence business decisions and optimize processes.

  • Build and maintain regular collaboration with Global ES/RTO Lead counterparts on shared learnings and further enhance projects and process optimizations.

  • Analyze data reports and align with the ES/RTO Manager on areas of opportunity to support our culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Identify training needs based on real-time feedback to ensure seamless operations.

  • Actively manage vendor contracts to ensure services enhance the employee experience and overall business strategy, providing recommendations for optimizing vendor utilization and fostering strong partnerships.

Key Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years of progressive human resources experience

  • Proficiency with Workday

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence stakeholders, partners, and peers to achieve talent outcomes

  • Strong experience in program and project management, designing, implementing, and iterating efficient processes that balance customer-centricity with business priorities

  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills; strong ability to derive insights from data dashboards and reports

This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles or Los Gatos office.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000 to $280,000.
