The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to join our Production Management Team (Unscripted/ Nonfiction) in Korea to help manage our unscripted (예능 / 다큐) slate of Local Language Originals being produced in Korean from a production perspective. Responsibilities include establishing and curating a production service company & staff/crew/vendor relations, reviewing budget, and supporting/suggesting best practices from pre-production through delivery.

The position will work closely with our Creative, Production, and other internal teams, as well as our local unscripted / nonfiction producers, to ensure the efficient delivery of quality original content.

A successful candidate will be well-organized, self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and initiative. S/he will report to the manager of the Production Management team in Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and update title information based on production needs and Netflix's internal systems and workflows

  • Manage the workflow of incoming submissions related to titles and assist in evaluating them using proprietary Netflix systems

  • Act as the liaison with various departments and production partners to coordinate information sharing and address incoming and outgoing requests

  • Meticulously manage key title-related dates and deadlines, including tracking resubmissions and schedules

  • Evaluate and provide coverage of incoming assigned material

  • Work with the Manager to maintain points of contact with the broader country and regional teams to seek out operational changes or potential efficiencies that could benefit the team and the market

  • Keep managers informed of internal communications with cross-functional partners (in Korea and abroad) regarding all production management tasks

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required, with 2–5 years of experience in the studio or media-focused industry

  • Solid production management skills with a strong understanding of unscripted/entertainment production

  • Fluency in both English and Korean is a must

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; articulate and professional

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively

  • Able to work independently, proactively, and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, adaptable to shift priorities aligned with evolving team needs

  • Energetic and positive individual with strong interpersonal awareness and a good sense of team dynamics

  • Collaborative team player who fosters a supportive and positive work environment with demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions

  • Shows curiosity, selflessness, sound judgment, and creative thinking
